GOING HOME!

God promises to save us.
If we believe in His Son.
A promise we can trust.
Symbol of the battle won.
God promises to love us.
As no one has before.
Even when He knows our nature.
Down to our deepest core.
God promises to take us.
When His Son returns to judge.
He’s steadfast and faithful.
His Word will never budge.
In the twinkle of an eye
At the sound of the trumpet blast.
We will be taken by the Lord.
To our eternal home so vast.
No death or pain will plague us.
Sad tears won’t fill our eyes.
No flesh will bind our worship.
To our God who never lies.
We watch the heavens daily.
For the army of the Lord.
Riding through the sky of blue.
His saints in one accord.
It will be a sight to see.
Some will cry and others praise.
Those condemned will try to hide.
The redeemed will bow and arms raise.
Come quickly our King.
Come quickly our Lord.
We want to go home.
You alone we adore.
